Mac Venomous Villains: review, haul and swatches!

FINALLY!!! I got my package with the Venomous Villains products I ordered a week ago by telephone. You can't imagine how happy I am right now! (well, unless you have ordered them too and you have received them! xD)
Let's see what I've bought...

My Dark Magic eyeshadow Duo

Maleficent: My Dark Magic mineralized eyeshadow duo
If you, like me, love purple, dark colors, black, and shimmering...You'll LOVE this one!! It's amazingly pigmented and it's perfect to create a deep purple smoky eye. You can use the two shades together or separated, in any case, you'll see that the effect is gorgeous!

Maleficent: Bad Fairy Nail Polish
This polish is both red, copper and gold, depending on how the light hits it. Too be honest, I was impressed by this polish at first, but when it came to application, I was disappointed! It's VERY sheer and you need at least two coats (if not three!) to obtain the perfect coverage and duo chrome effect. (see swatches at the end of the post) It's a very nice product, but with a not so good consistence in my opinion... Anyway, I really like the shade! I wonder if there are any good "dupes" around...=P

Strange Potion Lipglass

The Evil Queen: Strange Potion Lipglass
This is a deep fuchsia-berry with iridescent fuchsia-purple shimmer. It applies and looks semi-opaque on lips. Very nice color!!!

It's a brightened coral-pink blush, very opaque, but easy blendable and very soft. This has a matte finish. I think it's a unique kind of coral blush, in the sense that there are many coral blushes, but this particular one is very nice and gives a very healthy and nice effect when applied on cheeks.

Cruella de Vil: Wicked Ways Lipglass

Wicked Ways Lipglass

Wicked Ways is a cherry red, very pigmented, with golden shimmer. I adore it!! It's perfect for creating a classy evening look.

Overall: I liked these products a lot. I would expect more from the nail polish, but the color is stunning! the lipglasses are amazingly pigmented, despite having pigmented lips myself. The eyeshadow duo is gorgeous and perfect for a smoky eye...
